The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a problem with our tv and we got upgraded to a nicer room. The spa is fabulous, top of the line.
It was just slightly too fancy for a young couple to have dinner with their baby in the stroller so we had to do room service.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. One of the dining options, Le Baccara was 5 mins walk away. We loved the property because it was just a walk down to a train station. Lac d'enghien is next to the hotel.
Nothing not to love.

I keep returning to my favorite hotel in Enghien-les-Bains. The friendly staff recommended delicious local food on my first visit. With amenities like free Wi-Fi, a fitness studio, and an outdoor pool, this place is perfect for a romantic escape. No regrets!

The furniture and decor in the hotel is becoming very worn out and tatty. My room and the rooms near it had an incredibly bad view with the window being surrounded by a high wooden fence blocking everything except the sky. Very claustrophobic and unpleasant. The bed was lumpy. The room was characterless and sterile. I won't be going back.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from the Station and 15 mins in to Paris Nord. Comfortable and spacious room, helpful staff. Breakfast very good if not a little expensive but overall Room rate + Breakfast costs less than many City centre 2 star Hotels
Public areas need updating and the main entrance is not very inviting. Entry to Spa is very expensive and you can only use the pool with Spa entry, so swimming is not really an option.

Great location overlooking the lake, reasonable prices, quiet rooms, easy access to train station. Perfect for businesses in Argenteuil.
Felt right at home, nothing too much trouble.

Even though I had booked a standard room, I was upgraded to a superior lake side room which had a separate sitting area and very nice bathroom. Overall, the hotel was very nice and comfortable.
My only problem was with the thickness of the quilt which seems to be standard now in Paris and which I found to be too warm. There were no thinner blankets available in the room and since the top sheet envelopes the quilt, it's difficult to adjust the warmth of the bed covering.

The hotel overlooks a lake and is close to a shopping center, casino, and train station. The staff is polite and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful. The prices are reasonable compared to hotels closer to La Defense. The spa facilities are a highlight, especially the hydrotherapy pool.

The view from the balcony is beautiful as long as yuo have a lake view room otherwise it overlooks peoples gardens to the side of the hotel. We upgraded to a lakeview room at a cost of 25 Euro's a night which was a bit expensive. My partner & I always use this hotel when visiting Paris due to its beautiful location.
The cost of Upgrading to a lakeview room, 25 Euro's a night, 8 Euro's a day parking, 15 Euros each for Continental Brakfast, 5 1/2 Euros for a small Beer. This is not a complaint just a moan about the extra costs incurred which ultimately increased the overall costs.

access to the spa
overpriced hotel accommodation. Also, car parking is too expensive - should be included in the price. Small print talks about access to the spa on one occassion but this is not highlighted clearly in your offer.breakfast at 17 euros per person is very expensive. Disappointing.

The rooms at Hôtel Barrière l'Hôtel du Lac are super cozy and comfortable, with all the essentials like a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, and a minibar. The bed was so dreamy, I had the best sleep ever! I loved the view of the garden from my room, it was so peaceful and relaxing.
The only thing I didn't really like was the bathroom toiletries. They weren't my favorite, but hey, everyone has different preferences, right?

I recently stayed at the Hotel Barriere in Enghien-les-Bains for a business trip and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is situated right by the lake, providing a lovely view from my quiet room. Despite not having a lake view, the hotel's location away from central Paris was a welcome escape from the city's traffic. The train station, just a short walk away, made it convenient for me to travel to nearby Argenteuil. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and contributed to the overall pleasant stay. The prices were reasonable, especially compared to the expensive hotels closer to La Defense. I regret not having enough time to enjoy the spa facilities, but I would definitely consider staying here again for a longer period to make use of them.
Totally recommend this hotel.
